Happy Customers 2012

Chris, Bristol BS7 - Clearview Solution 400 fitted, January 2012:
I would just like to say that I am very impressed with the stove, and what an outstanding job Tom and Paul carried out installing the stove. I am amazed by the heat it produces, and it virtually heats the whole house. I will, and already have, recommended your company to my friends and neighbours. Looking forward to years of lovely fires on the long winter evenings!

James, Bristol BS7 - Clearview Pioneer stove fitted December 2011:
"Can I first say what an excellent job your fitters did on Monday and Tuesday. The were polite, tidy and did a fabulous job. Could you pass that on"

Polly, Bristol, BS8 - Morso stove fitted, January 2012:
"Your fitters, Tom and Paul, left my sitting room tidier than it was before they arrived! We love our stove, thank you"

Jane, Bath, BA1 - Contura stove fitted, December 2011:
"Our stove from Kindle has been the best investment we have ever made. We are using it every day and have never been cosier. Thank you Clare and Guy."

New stoves for Kindle - Hotpod, Rais and Harrie Leenders!

We are so pleased to have been chosen as the approved stockists of the very funky Hotpod stove.
It is made by hand in the West Country and has just been tested and approved by DEFRA for smoke control areas. Come and see it in our Bristol and Teddington showrooms.

Contura have launched a beautiful new inset stove - the i4. It is perfect for smaller fireplaces and is multi fuel. This has been proving a real hit so far this winter.

We have also been chosen as the approved stockists of Rais and Harrie Leenders stoves. They are state of the art stoves and the Q-tee is causing a real stir and is really worth a look.

the Firewood poem, written in 1929

Beechwood fires are bright and clear
If the logs are kept a year,
Chestnut's only good they say,
If for logs 'tis laid away.
But ash new or ash old,
Is fit for a queen with crown of gold

Birch and fir logs burn too fast
Blaze up bright and do not last,
it is by the Irish said
Hawthorn bakes the sweetest bread.
Elm wood burns like churchyard mould,
E'en the very flames are cold
But ash green or ash brown
Is fit for a queen with golden crown

Poplar gives a bitter smoke,
Fills your eyes and makes you choke,
Apple wood will scent your room
Pear wood smells like flowers in bloom
Oaken logs, if dry and old
keep away the winter's cold
But ash wet or ash dry
a king shall warm his slippers by.

New Blog

Welcome to our new blog page!

We can now bring you regular updates about us here at Kindle Stoves as well as news and views of changes in the industry as a whole.

With gas and oil prices set to continue to rise and the government target that we will use at least 15% renewable energy by 2020, wood burning is becoming increasingly "talked about" and hopefully incentivised ....so we will keep you posted.
